1)Regenerative combustion technology

Recent years, regenerative combustion technology has been widely used in heating equipment. Compared with the heating furnace without waste heat recovery, the regenerative heating furnace can save more than 40% energy. However, the investment cost is high, and there is the concept of saving energy without money saving. Recently, double regeneration (preheating gas and air 1000℃) technology is recommended for the heating furnace to use surplus blast furnace gas. The efficiency is higher than 70%, and energy-saving is obvious.

2)Energy-saving Coating

Energy-saving coatings use the principle of far-infrared radiation to spray paint on the surface of refractory materials of various high-temperature furnaces, improve spectral emissivity, increase furnace heat transfer, and save energy by 5%-10%. At present, many domestic steel rolling furnaces use this technique.


3)Walking Beam furnace and Vaporization Cooling Technology

The walking beam furnace can reduce the heating time of the billet and reduce the oxidation loss. Vaporization cooling can reduce the water used for rolling steel, and can recycle the production steam. Recent years, the new heating furnace has been gradually promoted and applied.

Hot Charging and Low-Temperature Rolling Technology

Hot charging technology can shorten the billet time and shorten the production cycle. The low-temperature rolling technology helps to reduce the temperature at which the billet is discharged, reduces the energy consumption of the rolling system, and achieves energy saving in the system. In recent years, the rolling system has been greatly promoted.

Motor Energy-saving Technology
Roughing rolling mill, finishing mill, roller conveyor, fan, water pump and other equipment, energy consumption is mainly power consumption, the motor is the key equipment, the motor design avoids large horse-drawn carriage, motor optimization design, frequency control technology is adopted in the operation process. Through motor energy-saving technology, energy saving can be achieved by 20%-40%.

Automation
Rolling mill automation can save 5%-18% indirectly, such as combustion furnace optimization control, which can effectively achieve the optimal control of air-fuel ratio, reduce incomplete combustion, improve combustion efficiency, reduce billet oxidation loss, reduce furnace unit consumption.
